There are 3 ways to set the monthly subscription price for your account:

* Free
* Paid (Premium)
* Trial Period (Free Then Pay)

It is up to you which method you use. There are advantages to using one or the other depending on how you want to run your account. You can change your pricing method at any time by going to the Pricing tab in Edit Profile in your menu options.

Each option is listed below with some ideas on how to use them for your account.

A Free Subscription is good for anyone that is new with few to no subscribers. This is a good way to get or add subscribers because they will easily join because membership is free. This is also a good choice if you do not have much content uploaded to your account. One of the benefits of being a subscriber to your account is to have access to your content, but if you do not have that much content uploaded then it is hard to ask members to join your account.

This option is also good if you are planning to focus on making money from your Live Paid Shows. No one can view your GO-LIVE unless they subscribe to your account. If you want to focus on Live Paid Shows then offering a Free Subscription will allow members to join for free then visit your Live Shows. Once members subscribe for free, then you can send those subscribers messages to let them know dates and times for your Live Shows.

If you plan on selling a majority of your content like videos and pictures, then you can set the membership for free and concentrate on selling your best content and making some free for your subscribers. The choice is up to you on how your run your Content Based Business on Private Stars Live.

Paid Subscriptions work well for Creators that already have a lot of fans or followers. Fans usually do not mind paying the subscription price for Creators they already follow even if it is on another site. This plan also works when the Creator has a lot of content uploaded. Fans want access to that content and will pay if there is a lot of content to see and view.

If you are focused on making money from the monthly subscription price and you have a lot content uploaded then this is a good choice. You can still make money from Live Paid Shows, Tips and Content Sales – but if you have many followers that are willing to pay for your large content library then the Premium or Paid Subscription plan will work for you.

You can do a combination of both the Free and Premium (Paid) plans. You can offer a short trial period like one or a few days before the fan must pay your subscription price. This is a good way to get fans to subscribe and then charge them later for access.

You can give members previews of your content that is not for sale. You can also chat with fans while they are still in the trial period to set things up for later or when they become paying members. You can even use the trial period to a Live Show as a teaser to get fans to pay and fully join as a full subscriber later.
